Trevor Breen needs no introduction to the show jumping world, originating in Ireland, Trevor has ridden Nationally and Internationally all his life to great success. Trevor was named on the long-list for Team Ireland for both the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games, winning on huge stages such as HOYS and numerous placings for the Nations Cup Teams and also having Super League wins. Trevor is a key member of the Team Ireland squad competing at the World Equestrian Games and European Championships. Trevor is now a member of the Rome Gladiators team for the 2023 season of LGCT.

Trevor has had a consistently successful career on the international show jumping stage.

One very memorable result from Trevor was his performance at Hickstead in 2014, where he won the infamous Hickstead Derby on Addy, the one-eyed wonder horse. Trevor and Addy had already garnered a phenomenal collection of wins at the All England Jumping Course, in total they won the British Speed Derby (2009), the Eventing Grand Prix (2012), the All England Grand Prix (2012) and the Queen Elizabeth II Cup. It is a record that no other horse has come close to matching at Hickstead. However... never one for doing things by halves, Trevor followed up by winning the Derby again in 2015 on Loughnatousa WB with the only clear round of the class, making him the only rider to have won the Derby twice, in two consecutive years, on two different horses. A truly talented horseman! 

Trevor relocated from Ireland to England in 2011 with his wife Caroline, where they now reside in Sussex to run their joint venture, Breen Sport Horses.

Caroline herself show jumps Internationally, having previously ridden under British Olympian Tim Stockdale, and continues to ride with great success at National and International competition alongside the rest of the Breen Sport Horses team.

Along with training, competing and raising their beautiful family, Caroline uses her proven equestrian business acumen to organise and run the business side of Breen Sport Horses, which provides services including sourcing, producing, and selling top horses, training riders of all levels and competing internationally with a string of experienced and upcoming horses, all while providing exceptional care to their rides.

Trevor and Caroline have two children, Mia and Ollie. Mia has now become a keen showjumper and wishes to follow in her parents footsteps.
